Pockets of Time

Somewhere on another post I was asked by MKheart how I fit my business into my schedule around my full time job and my life. I didn’t get a chance to answer there so I have created a new post. It is rather postworthy, after all. I just made up a new word. (more…)

The Big Picture

Recently, I’ve talked about affirmations and goals I’ve mentioned time after time after time. Now it’s time to see the big picture! The big picture is really your “WHY.” I just had this AHA moment the other day. It just kind of hit me in the brain as I was driving to or from work. Yes, I guess my mind wanders on that thirty mile commute! I was thinking about how we always hear about having a “why” for doing this business. I could never come up with one. (more…)

Affirmations Create Accountability

Then, I attended a workshop with my NSD back in April. My opinion and understanding of an affirmation was transformed. (more…)

Updated Product Display

Today I updated my office display spread on my bookshelf. I’m liking the new look. I have a third display tray that I still have to fill. What do you think of this new look?

Just in case you can’t tell what is shown, that is the hostess gift black makeup bag set, mineral powders are inside the makeup bag, flip chart, card holder with cards, lipstick tray with glosses featured, and 2 display trays filled. I also have the guide to glamor brochures in front of the flip chart. :D

Making My Office a Store

This weekend I decided to organize my book case a little and dedicate one shelf to my business. I don’t need a huge display because I don’t get tons of company. I have decided, however, that I would like to have some type of visual when people do stop by. Our house is remodeled and people often want a tour to see all of the work Hubby put into the house. (more…)
