Star Status Update

Wow! It’s been awhile since I’ve written anything! Well, I’ve been busy. Busy with my regular job, busy with sales, and busy with life. I wanted to take an opportunity to share where I’m at with my goal for this quarter. After Seminar, I decided to be a four quarter star this year. I got off to a great start in June and July! August was very slow. Now I’m picking up the pieces as we approach the end of Quarter 1. (more…)

Back Home Back to Work

I’m home from Dallas and I have Monday off before returning to work which is good because I have a party scheduled for tomorrow and I cannot wait! My hostess is excited, too! I love that I have work lined up right when I get home. I scheduled this appointment before I left, but it still feels great! I have huge goals now that I’m home. I need to finish my Star! I’m close to halfway there right now. My sales goal for August is $2000 retail and 5-7 parties held! Can’t wait to get started!

Today was spent catching up with Hubby. That was nice. :) I had a great time at Seminar, but I am happy to be back home with my husband.

Record Breaker!

This week was so exciting for me! I broke my all time weekly personal sales record! My previous best week was in the neighborhood of $420. This week, I sold $669! This is my total after hostess bonuses and customer discounts! I moved about $700 of retail product! What is very exciting was that I tracked my sales. I set a goal and I tracked it and…I exceeded my goal! My goal for this week was $500. I met my goal and surpassed it! (more…)

It’s a New Year!

It’s a new sales year in the business world and I’m determined to kick this year off right. I have made goals for 2009-2010. My biggest goal is to be a Star every quarter. I’m on the right track so far. I have 2 appointments on July 11, and one so far on the 18th. I’m working with my hostesses to ensure they all hold. I want to earn car status by December and submit DIQ in January. Those are my goals. If I can be a Star every quarter I can reach those goals I am sure. (more…)

Setting and Tracking Goals Pays Off

It has been a full week since Career Conference and I have been working hard! Whenever I go to that event I come back fully recharged and ready to work. This year was reminiscent of my first Career Conference. I came home and sold $1600 retail in that month. I aim to repeat that this year and keep it steady all year. ;) So far, I’m off to a great start! I had a Star Consultant week last week. My goal was to sell $400 retail in that week. I ended up just shy by $29! My total retail sales came to $371.70! That includes discounts! (more…)

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

It’s been a really long time since I’ve posted. I know. I want to get back into it. There are some pending items I’m waiting on before I get back into the swing of things. I’m going to be purchasing a laptop soon and that will give me more time to be online. I can multitask then. Hehehe…

In business news, I’m a Senior Consultant again! Woot! I have four team members and one became active last month and another is getting active soon. I also have tons of leads from a bride show I recently worked and will be getting to those soon. I’m very excited about business right now! :D

Finally, I want to take the opportunity to wish you all a Happy St. Patty’s Day. Everyone is Irish today (I’m Irish everyday hehehe). I forgot to wear green today! Can you believe that? I have on Lemon Grass eye shadow. Does that count? Have a great day! I’ll be back more regularly very soon!

Catching Up

The past couple of days I’ve been trying to get caught up with my business. I was also enrolled in some classes at the university for recreation. I’ve decided to take some items off my plate so the classes had to go. Instead, I’m going to stay focused on my business and avoid any activity that might trigger the CFS bug. I started things off by meeting with my director last weekend to go over goals for the new year. She helped me to break them down and modify them to work with my current lifestyle. Some of my goals were a little too large for the amount of time I’ve able to put into my business. (more…)

January Jolt

Happy 2009 everyone! I know it’s the middle of the month already, but I’ve had a very busy start to the year. This weekend was nonstop and it was all about my business! It feels great to be back in action.  I kind of put everything on hold while I gained some stamina for the new year. I knew this weekend and days leading up to it would be hectic and I needed to have the energy. So here’s what I was up to. (more…)

Month End Roundup

Well, September came and went and now it is October. Can you believe it? I can’t. Last night I was going over my datebook planning my work schedule in disbelief that I was looking at October and November! Unbelievable. Where has the year gone? My September was quite productive. I’m happy with my results. I set some goals. My faces goal was fifteen faces. I did seven faces. This was actually one more face than last month. My retail sales goal was $2000. My actual retail sales came in right around $600. So, I missed my goals, but I still made money. :) How did you do in September? (more…)

Quarter One is Done; What Will You Do in Quarter Two?

Today begins Quarter Two in our fiscal sales year. How did your first quarter go? Did you track your goals? Did you hit them? How close were you? This last quarter was the first one I tracked in a long time (or ever). My goal was Ruby Star. I missed the goal. I did not Star this Quarter. I could dwell on that and get down or I can focus on what I actually did accomplish with my efforts. I’d prefer to stay focused on the things I did do. (more…)
