That's good info, PinkBiz. I remember when I started there was Instant Action Eye Cream. I LOVED how that felt on my lids. The Age-Fighting Eye Cream isn't quite the same, but it works.

I found out from Robert Jones that Eye Primer use is actually intended for women with oily eyelids. That would explain why I was experiencing dry skin on mine. That's an area of my skin that could use some oil. It has lost some over the years!

Great advice, SCM! Thanks! The eye primer dries my skin on the eye lid. It is odd. I can't use it daily. I have combination skin. I have found this to mean, for me at least, "dry and oily simultaneously" rather than dry areas and oily areas. My skin is weir.d :P

Great ideas Shades! I found for me, that the eyesicles comes off as fast as I put it on (or congregates in the crease~~ I have oily skin); so I use the Eye Primer EVERY day~~~ It is also wonderful under the Mineral Eye Colors. I have some unit members who were having problems with the minerals.... Once I suggested the Eye Primer~~ no more problems :D

Don't mind at all, Sabrina! :) I've always used some kind of base on my eyelids. When I had to do stage makeup I used foundation on my eyelids and lips to keep makeup on under the lights. I took a lot of my stage tricks home with me. I don't put foundation on my lips for everyday, though. It's not necessary. I used to use a creamy eye color from Clinique as a base before I started using Mary Kay.

I have heard Mary Kay people suggest using Eyecicles as a base. It was just something I was already implementing. :)

great post! I hope you don't mind if I feature it on my customer website/blog?! It had never occurred to me to try the vanilla eyesicles as a "primer" but I'm dying to try it now. Did you come up with that on your own or was it suggested by someone else?
