Oh it's ok. I'm going to use a program. I'm first trying Constant contact. They have a free trial. I'm also looking into Aweber. I have a template for a mailer already. Thanks though! :D

Oh, if you forward me the information I can create a newsletter for you. Did you want it to mail out or to email or for your blog?

Hi everyone! I have been so busy this weekend with my table at the festival! Yesterday we had a lot of rainy moments so I think there were not as many people as there could have been. Today is the last day so hopefully it will stay dry!

SCM, Thank you for your advice! My director also rewards $100 "Grand Days!" Sometimes she does drawings for those as well. $100/day in sales is a good goal for selling. I'm going to focus on that. I have a wipe board goal poster that I need to ask Hubby to please mount on the wall! What's really cool about it is it's also magnetic! I can stick pictures on it, too! :D

MKHeart, I think the blog should be in the background of your business. If you want to focus on Mary Kay, use the blog as a tool for meeting new people, getting ideas, and for customer service. Interaction with live people is the best way to move forward. I use this blog for accountability. I've just announced some hefty goals to whomever happens to read this so it helps me to stay on task when I know people are wondering, "what's she doing and how is she coming along..." ;)I'm also using it as a customer service tool to keep my customer up to date and in the know. Once I get the newsletter stuff figured out that will be another contact I have with them.

MK4ME, thank you so much for that info. I forgot about free stuff counting towards the sales amounts even though it's free! I also didn't know that about the PCP GWP. I thought at one time just doing PCP lists was somehow factored in as well. Am I correct? Thank you for your support!

Jenni, I am going to get my goal poster over here tonight! :D

Hey Shades, love your goals! Court of sales is really do-able when you break it down, I am sure you have but just in case, Basically you would be looking to sell $2500 monthly, by using the 60/40 spilt, you would be restocking $1500 wholesale a month. $1500 times 12 months is $18,000 wholesale which would of course e $36,000 retail. - But it is a tad easier than that, because any free product you get for example if you do a $400 and you get the product bonus, that $$ amount counts, also the value of your PCP purchase (the currant one is $17.50) these also add into that total. The most interesting thing is when you are focusing on doing enough classes to make this goal, you are also meeting alot of people and it starts making the Court of Sharing look much more realistic, everything boils down to the # of faces you see.

And the saying I use with my unit all the time when they ask me why I do so many classes and facial, "I can not teach what I do not know and I can not lead where I do not go"! so...

Shades, we are all going to be cheering you on!!

Nope... no blog! I try hard to only get on the computer a few times a day~~~ with my business and homeschooling my youngest of 4 and driving the kids to and from school, swim practice, etc and working with my unit I really try to stay off the computer and blip into others' blogs!

Doing the court......I have a good customer base who are pretty loyal to me! I also really build skin care customers who need to reorder regularly. I keep a full store of products and rarely have anyone wait more than 3-5 days (when I ship to them) for their orders! I also do lots of customer appreciation gifts~~~ and often my customers use me as their gift service. I have one husband who orders from me every gift-giving occasion (and he has at least 1-2 a month with extended family). Last month, he alone ordered $750 in gifts from me! Keeping consistent and following up with EVERY customer is definitely KEY!
