One of my readers, MK4ME, emailed me this picture. It is a great way to still get use of those older Cosmetic Display Trays with the new products. Don’t be discouraged if you have those and aren’t ready to buy the new ones. Thank you, MK4ME!
This is an excellent idea:

Stumble It!
What a great idea, thanks for sharing that! I had a couple of these, and was just about to get rid of them, now I’m glad I didn’t!
Excellent idea. Way to go!
I think it’s a great idea. I never invested in these trays. No place to store them or display them at my place. I think it’s good to post for anyone who may feel “stuck” with them.
I have a question for MK4ME…do the products actually go all the way in? I tried it last night with my director’s products, and they didn’t go in all the way as I was expecting them to. Should they be resting in the slots rather than being held in? (Or do I need to push them in a little harder, lol)
Also, what do you use for the labels? Is it hand written or are those clear/typed labels?
We had a PaceSetters class start up last night, and of course they had all the new products there for us to see, and I told a couple of gals about your site here so they could see the picture. They thought it was a great idea as well!
Thank you, Donna! How flattering!
Hey Shades!!! and all Im sorry I have not been here in a while the MODEM on the computer is being fixed. I dont have anything much to add but I should have the computer back next week.
Im downtown right now. Bad news the box I put out at the IHOP was taken down and nobody up there knows who did it. Oh well back to the drawing board.
Hi Colleen! I am so sorry to hear about your facial box. One of the pitfalls of fishbowls.
What about the other 3 boxes? You had 4 total, right? Good luck!!
Hi Sabrina, so sorry for not answering your question sooner, hadn’t stopped in for awhile, I was able to get them almost all the way in. Most are not flush against the bottom but they are at least snug.
I asked Shade to post this because of the restrictions on the new black display tray, this way if someone doesn’t need a large order, they still have a nice way to display the new products.
Shades-
And for anyone that does use two forms of payments to separate Section 1 and Section 2 products expenses, I know you can’t use two different forms of payments on intouch but if you have your director put in an order thru desk top order manager (something most directors have) you are allowed to use multiple credit card numbers to pay for the orders. The director must put the order in thru her DOM though. It can be one order but you can charge inventory (Section 1 to one card and Section 2 to another card). - Actually you can even add more card numbers but I don’t know how many it will take.
That’s pretty cool that they still fit - even if they are not exactly the same shape.
Do they also fit in the old compacts?
They don’t fit in the old compacts because the new colors are magnetic. They would fall right out of the old compacts.
Whynot try a small piece of the pliable magnets we all bought with the peel and stick to make our business cards magnets!
I used a small piece to hold one of the new blushes and 2 new eye colors in the RIGHT side of the NEW compacts…that way I can have my Mineral Powder pressed powder on the LEFt - where the magnet is already and my colors on the right!!!
WOW! Now that’s thinkin’!
What a fabulous idea! Thank you.
