This is available to all consultants on InTouch, but I wanted to share the upcoming changes to the color line. Here is a list of what will be going away for good and what will be back in June reformulated. It also says what new shades will be best to replace the discontinued ones: (more…)
Now, if you go to your Mary Kay personal website, it features the video “Imagine the Possibilities!” My director sent this information on email. So, if you have any prospective team members, ask them to visit your website and click the link that says, “Sell Mary Kay.”
One of my readers voiced her concerns that she is getting orders for the old compacts because they are discovering some of the old eye and cheek colors. Since the old compacts are on the discontinued list and many are not available, how do we address this dilemma? I have some suggestions and this board is open to others as always.
If someone has just discovered Sunny Spice and is in love, but she needs the compact and you’re out of the old version it can be quite frustrating. My first suggestion would be to check the Discontinued Section 1 items on InTouch. It is my understanding that only the Custom Compact is still available. The next suggestion is to talk to your director or sister consultants and see if anyone has one you can trade. I am not above helping each other out in these situations.
Yesterday, my order with the new compacts and mineral makeup arrived. My business is based primarily on my skin care sales, so I wasn’t expecting much from the makeup in all honesty. I like to wear makeup, though, so I bought myself the new compact and glamor items. I ordered 2 compacts: one for the new pressed mineral powder and one for makeup. The old platinum Custom Compact was convenient as far as storing items, but a little impractical for travel. The new compacts fit nicely into a purse. The sheen to the compact is very nice and it is easy to finger print up. My husband was even impressed with the appearance. I put my things inside it and showed him and he said it was “pretty cool.”
Today I’m wearing my new mineral makeup for the first time. The palette I chose consists of: (more…)
I was browsing my stats on the blog and someone searched this term:
“can i donate my mary kay inventory to charity”
I thought I would address it. It brought 3 searches to my site. The answer is absolutely! As a matter of fact, it is recommended by the company in the April issue of Applause®. It’s found on page 9. I will quote: (more…)
One of my readers, MK4ME, emailed me this picture. It is a great way to still get use of those older Cosmetic Display Trays with the new products. Don’t be discouraged if you have those and aren’t ready to buy the new ones. Thank you, MK4ME!
This is excellent advice whether you’re in Mary Kay or not. A couple years ago there was a computer stolen from my employer and these types of guidelines were communicated to all who were potentially affected. Fortunately, the stolen laptop was recovered, but it’s always better to be safe than sorry (more…)
This is yet another very insightful article from Get Motivation. It illustrates how to accelerate your abilities over time. This is a pretty good example of how I approach my Mary Kay business. I take in as much information as I can and apply it and see where it takes me. Enjoy the article: (more…)
