I would like to thank Mercedes for offering me this award! I’ve been awarded for my efforts on this blog and I am very grateful and flattered. Thank you, Mercedes!
I would like to pass this award on to a few others:
Balanced Mary Kay — for providing an outlet for all experiences in Mary Kay.
Miss 3 H — for your new blog devoted to finding balance in life.
The Ringleader — for being a great friend.
PynkMyst — for providing wonderful info on being a MK Director.
MK Rules — for inspiring me to create my own MK business blog.

Well, thank you. I would love to accept but what do I do? Can I nominate you and my friend Diz!
Sure! All you really need to do to accept, is repost about the award and name some friends to award it to.
Thanks! Now how do I link to him and all that?
You can click on the link here and copy and paste it into your own post. And just mention that he originated the award.
“Sure! All you really need to do to accept, is repost about the award and name some friends to award it to.”
This is just a link scheme, designed to improve rankings for the person who first came up with the idea.
Be careful who you link to with it as it may get your site penalised in the search engines.
Thanks for the heads up! I’m new to blogging (less than a year).
OK. I’m keeping the post because I’m grateful that Mercedes thought of me, but I’m NOT carrying on the linkage.
Looks like you’re doing alright for such a new blog. Do you get much traffic?
Thanks! I think my traffic is growing. I would say on average, I get around 250 visits per day. Some days are higher than others, of course. This blog has been public since May or June of 2007.
You’re certainly doing alright then.
What’s your motivation for blogging here - to gain interest in MK or is it just a personal writing space?
It’s a little of both. It started as a personal site and morphed into a place for MK consultants to get information and suggestions and share ideas. I was finding a lot of negativity when searching the web for MK. I wanted to provide a site to show that one can enjoy the MK experience. I am not blatantly attacking anyone who does not like MLM or MK. I am here to provide my positive experience and offer information and/or advice to those who may not be having quite the experience I have. It’s also for consultants to bounce ideas off of one another in an environment where we are all for the most part working the business.
I’m also wanting to move up in my own business and keeping this blog helps me stay accountable. It prevents me from procrastinating as I have in the past (I’m ashamed to admit!). It has certainly helped me to bolster my own productivity and stay accountable for my goals.
I did read your about page as it goes so I knew how you were doing in MK.
It’s nice to find an MLMer who can respect those who feel it’s not for them - I’ve certainly come across many who don’t.
Mayber you should start a dance/ballet blog too and fire up that old passion as well?
I’ve considered it, actually.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Hey shades - like your new digs!
Just found your comment about awarding me this - and of course scams notes about the nature of this type of award!
I genuinely thank you for the recognition and for your contributions, helping make my blog what it is!
