New Year’s NON-Resolutions

Accountable tagged me. What you do is list 7 New Year’s resolutions you are not going to do in 2008 year based on 2007’s results, then you simply tag THREE people to do the same (we’re only tagging three, cuz so many of us run in the same blog groups). You can tag TWO people that you know and ONE person based on the TAG SURFER (in your dashboard). That way you will be connecting with other bloggers with the same interest! Ready … set … NO GOAL YOURSELF!

  1. I will NOT read up on the blogs every waking moment. Even if I’m waiting for responses to something I posted.
  2. I will NOT watch Law & Order: CI when I could be doing something more productive like yoga or cooking or cleaning.
  3. I will NOT talk about all my plans with no action to back it up!
  4. I will NOT settle for the situation I am in.
  5. I will NOT procrastinate housework.
  6. I will NOT get distracted from the task at hand.
  7. I will NOT get out of shape.

I tagged PynkMyst, Ringleader, and MK Rules. I don’t know what the surfer is, so I tagged Angie, too. :)

I will go to and participate in a skin care class this weekend and I will read the blogs every other day..LOL I will be a director or DIQ this year (full or part time) I will get commission checks of 2000 or greater this year. I will be a positive influence this year and remember what the lord has done for me and what he will continue to do!!!

    1. I will be more productive with my time.

    2. I will watch Law & Order: CI after I have done something more productive; like yoga, cooking or cleaning.

    3. I will back up my words with action!

    4. I will create a better situation for myself.

    5. I will do housework in a timely matter.

    6. I will concentrate on the task at hand.

    7. I will stay in shape.

Now that you have a positive list, what steps will you take to ensure that you accomplish these goals. How will you be more productive with your time? What productive things do you want to do? What actions will you do to make your plans reality? How will you keep up with the housework? How will you stay focused? How will you stay in shape. In order to reach goals they have to be specific and measurable. So be as specific as you can and give yourself a sturdy time line. Remember to use positive wording. Leave out the “nots”. *hugs* and Happy New Year.

thanks, Jennifer, but actually, it’s kind of a joke. It’s based on the things I did this year that I don’t want to repeat in 2008. that is why it’s the NON-resolutions. ;)

  5. jennifer says:

Yes..I realize this now…but after 6 glasses of champagne things don’t sink in correctly! Tee-Hee! Oh, and I have 101 things on my list. Did you read it? It’s long….

  6. shadesofpink says:

I’ll check it out! :D 6 glasses of champagne! Nice! I got a headache after one glass of Reisling. I just can’t drink like I used to!

I didn’t get a buzz or a hangover! Weird huh? I am tired today. It could be anything from running around like a crazy person to dehydration from all the booze. Or the fact that I dreamt of being on an airplane with a kid from junior high and Sonny Corinthos from General Hospital! Ha ha.

  8. MKShay (formerly ShayinSC) says:
