I’m trying yet another tactic to drive my sales up this month. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this before. I guess I kind of got the idea from the training I had on open house alternatives. I’m having a Five and Ten sale. Everything is either $5 or $10. It’s older discontinued items that I just want to move. I have original Satin Hands, Pedicure Sets, nail polishes, past holiday limited edition items, and Embrace Spa products. I’ve already sold the Satin Hands set and I expect to sell much more once I launch the sale tomorrow. I told a couple people about it today and they are very excited.
Did I mention I’m doing this primarily at work? I am. I have large drawers in my desk and the stuff will fit nicely inside. One drawer will have $10 items and the other will have $5 items. Perfect! This promotion is exciting to me and I expect some pretty good results. I’ll post them as I experience them!
If anyone has other year end sales ideas, feel free to share them!
Perfect article from Get Motivation if you struggle with setting goals. I had trouble with goal setting for quite a long time. My biggest issue was always figuring out what short-term goals were necessary to work toward the long-term goal. (more…)
I have been dying for a haircut for months now. My hair is kind of long now. When it gets this long it tends to look stringy and thin. I have ultra-fine hair. It doesn’t help that my underactive thyroid causes hair loss. I want something dramatic and I think I want to change the color, too. I’m thinking highlights; blonde highlights. My husband wants me to go totally blonde, but my fair skin might not work with blonde hair. My mom goes to a new hair stylist now and I think I’m going to try her out. Color is her specialty. I’ll have to see.
The other night, hubby and I were watching TV. I have no idea what we were watching, but at one point, they were talking about Victoria Beckham. I am not a Spice Girls fan by any stretch, but they showed her new haircut and I really like it.
I think I could pull off the cut. I don’t want the blonde hair, but I could totally do the style and instead of going all blonde, I would go for chunky blonde highlights!
It would be the shortest I’ve ever had my hair. Maybe I’d have just a little more length on the sides and in the back, but I don’t know. My hair tends to grow fast. I’m really tempted to be very daring here. Hubby will probably be very disappointed. Being the typical man he is, he prefers long hair. I like long hair, but about once a year I like to chop it off. I’m thinking this would be a good look for me in 2008!
