Out With the Old; In With the New: What’s Staying, Going, and What’s to Come

I’m sure that everyone is excited about our upcoming mineral products — I know I am, anyway! I have comprised some lists of what’s going away and what is coming soon! Our unit had a conference call last night going over new product info. Some of it was info we heard at our Monday night event, but much of it was new information! I’ll start with discontinued items and finish with what’s coming.
Some of this information may already be known to you, but I thought I would post it anyway. Some of it can be found in the January Applause® Magazine. Personally, I hadn’t realized we were also developing mineral eye colors, cheek colors, and pressed powders.
Following are discontinued as of December 16, 2007 order form:
Eyes:
Bamboo, Blue Moon, Cinnabar, Copper Beach, Gold Leaf, Goldenrod, Jade, Java, Tooti Fruiti, Virtual Violet, Whipped Cocoa
Cheeks:
Apricot Breeze, Island Spice, Pink Meringue, Plum Dazzle
Lips:
Copper Mine, Gold Dust, Magenta, Pink Coral, Red Salsa, Redwood, Strike-A-Pose Rose, Pink Daisy

Day Radiance Cream Foundations (most will return in updated packaging)
All existing compacts including brushes and applicators (inventories have been planned to last through into the March quarter)
Discontinued as of March 16:
Sunless Tanning Lotion
Eye: Cotton Candy, Cranberry Ice, Currant Craze, Lagoon, Lucky Penny, Rain Forest, Sheer Pink and Sugar plum
Cheek: Bronze Sands, Desert Bloom, Orchid and Santa Fe Sun
About the new lipsticks:
The formula for the new lipsticks will remain the same. It is still fragrance free, however, vanilla flavoring will be added so it will taste and smell like a hint of vanilla — similar to the glosses.
The new black packaging will feature lids that click to stay on. No more worries of lipstick lids coming off in your purse!
There will be 10 new shades available in December:
Amber Glow, Berry Kiss, Bronzed, Golden, Hibiscus, Nutmeg, Red, Rich Cocoa, Rich Fig, Tanned
Here’s what to watch for in March. This is copied from an email from my director:
