Accountable tagged me. What you do is list 7 New Year’s resolutions you are not going to do in 2008 year based on 2007’s results, then you simply tag THREE people to do the same (we’re only tagging three, cuz so many of us run in the same blog groups). You can tag TWO people that you know and ONE person based on the TAG SURFER (in your dashboard). That way you will be connecting with other bloggers with the same interest! Ready … set … NO GOAL YOURSELF!
I will NOT read up on the blogs every waking moment. Even if I’m waiting for responses to something I posted.
I will NOT watch Law & Order: CI when I could be doing something more productive like yoga or cooking or cleaning.
I will NOT talk about all my plans with no action to back it up!
With the new year upon us, I just want to wish each and every one of you a happy and prosperous new year in 2008! I am working on my goals. My big goal is to be DIQ by March. I want to be a free driving director by June 30! I want to go to Seminar this year. I told my director Seminar is like the Olympics with me — I’ll go every 4 years! I went in 2004 and to be honest, I wasn’t real impressed. I decided it might be more enjoyable if I had accomplished something huge like car qualification and/or directorship. (more…)
OK. After much debate, I’ve decided to go ahead and post this. I will preface this by saying, I’m not preaching my own beliefs to anyone and in no way expect anyone to agree with me. I happen to disagree that business and religion should mix. The following is my explanation to why.
There are two things one should not readily discuss. Those two things are politics and religion. These two topics almost inevitably lead to conflict and possibly hurt feelings. Why? Because people tend to feel strongly about their beliefs on both issues. It can lead to flagrant, unnecessary conflicts as well. It happens all around the world. So what does this have to do with Mary Kay? (more…)
There seems to be at times, a misunderstanding of what constitutes a loss and what it means to profit from this business. I’m going to do my utmost best to make this clear. This is going to be an outline of what to expect if you decide to stock some inventory. I have a feeling that the majority of people reading this already know this; however, you never really know who’s reading so I’m going to post it. This information can also be very helpful when talking to new team members about the inventory options and giving them a clearer picture of what to expect. This also may help to relieve worries of those who may feel they have too much inventory or what not.
I also would like to point out that I’m going to show this from the point of view of someone, like myself, who starts this business as a hobby that can make some money. This reflects someone who may not be confident in their ability to sell a product and are starting out seriously, yet allowing time for growth. (more…)

Today my Mineral Powder Foundation arrived! I have been sick for days so I am feeling better this evening and decided to give it a try before wearing it to work tomorrow. Overall, I do like it. I’ve decided to take this opportunity to list my pros and cons. Please note, this is the only Mineral Powder Foundation I have ever tried. It is not my intent to compare it to another brand of the same product. This is simply my take on the experience of wearing MK’s Mineral Powder Foundation. Here goes: (more…)
