Lots of Section 2

Today I have the house to myself. I decided to reorganize my MK closet. My MK closet is a complete mess. I need shelves … bad! Right now, I have the wheeled carrier, one Rubber Maid ™ tote, and several totes (as in bags) holding my inventory and supplies. I can’t stand the disorganization! Even though everything is put back away and I was able to throw some things out and lighten the load, it’s still a mess. At least now I know what I have and where it is. I have a LOT of Beauty Books! Recently, a friend of mine sold her product back so she gave me a lot of her left over Section 2. I’m very grateful. I have profile cards, sales slips, hostess brochures, recruiting CD’s and brochures, invitations, thank you cards, and GWP items to last me. She even gave me 2 On-the-Go Totes. I could probably do 100 faces with the stuff she has given me!
Even though I have tons of stuff and I need to get more organized, I feel quite confident in myself! One thing I often worry about (and it’s silly) is having too little Section 2. I’m very frugal buying that stuff. I like to keep my orders strictly Section 1 if at all possible. The only time I really purchase any Section 2 at all is when the new Quarter begins. I buy the new Look Books, GWP, Color 101 cards, and maybe the hostess gift. One of the directors I train with always says, “Do NOT go shopping on Section 2!” It’s part of her money management training.
As I was sorting through all of my supplies and merchandise, I was thinking how little I really do have. My inventory sells rather well. I do have some really old lip glosses that I think I’ll just pitch. They can’t possibly be usable anymore. Other than those, my product moves. I’m so glad. Never in a million years could I have pictured myself selling anything. I enjoy it more and more. Next Saturday I have a skin care class of 5, possibly 7. I’m excited. It will be the first class I’ve held since April. I’m going to build my momentum and get my Power Start done no later than January 31. If I start building the momentum now, I can surely submit DIQ by February.
Anyway, I digress; back to organizing. I think it would be cool to have a book shelf in this front “office” room that I can not only store books in, but also display some of my products. I also saw some cute little drawer things at Target that would be perfect for holding eye shadows and blushes. The thought of having a little “store” excites me. Hubby was going to build some shelves at one point. Then, things in this neighborhood started to stink and he doesn’t want to do any more improvements on this house. He remodeled it completely and it took him almost 2 years to do it alone. Now he’s unhappy with location issues so we are planning to move. No sense building anything else. So, my plan B is the book shelf and storage container idea.
Sorry, that was kind of a mindless rant, but I know you all understand! ![]()

Stumble It!

I have 6 cheap pencil cases that I used for small items. for example: eye shadow; lip stick/gloss; Cheek color; concealer. If you’d like them, you can have them. Of course, they are PINK!!
I have fishing tackle boxes that hold lip sticks and eye brow pencils, eye liners and lip gloss. You can get them at Wal-Mart for like $3.97. They are hanging on the wall. I also found these selves things at an suction place and paid $15.00 for them they came from an office were they had put papers in and I cleaned them up added some pink fabric and they look ok. That holds everything else like my foundations and fragances and cleansers. So there are some ideas for you.
Thank you so much for the ideas!
I want to get some type of containers like tackle boxes or those clear drawer things. If it’s clear, I can see what’s in it more easily. I like the idea of decorating shelves with fabric to make it look pretty.
