I’ve posted this video before. Last time I posted it was for Memorial Day. I think it is just as relevant today. It’s very touching. I received it on email and it can be found on You Tube. Enjoy:

Very touching video. I think I have some phone calls to make.
THAT was amazing!
You guys, please please please go to http://www.anysoldier.com and see what you can do to support the troops this holiday season. This organization was started by a soldier who wanted to create a way for soldiers who do NOT get mail to GET MAIL. You can simply write letters or support them with specific requests for things like beef jerky, body wash, popcorn & socks. The smallest things that we take for granted make a huge difference to their living conditions.
The site says that letters are the most requested. I can understand why, if they watch, read or listen to mass media they must feel that they are not supported. Regardless of how one feels about the war itself, it would be hard to believe that anyone would have ill feelings towards the men and women who so valiantly do their jobs.
Blessed, Free & Grateful… the myst.
I want to thank ALL of those vets (although Im not for the war) who fought for us and those who are fighting now. I know there are some who want to serve our country and some who were drafted. Whatever the case
may be my heart is with you.
Myst!!! Thanks for posting this! I already have 4 people committed to donate $10 for my “stocking for a soldier” project. The unit I choose is 45 males in a Feild artillery unit very similar to the unit my hubby was in. They do not stay on a base, but have very dangerous jobs and are in great need of moral support due to the things they see on the job.
I have 4 stockings donated…now for the other 46!!!
