OK. I’m going to totally date myself here with this post. A work friend and I were just sitting here remembering favorite childhood toys. In particular, we were talking about Fashion Plates

which then led to the memory of those “plastic pop dolls.” Finally, I remembered those were Dolly Pops! I had so many of those things… (more…)

Booking 101

Tonight I was fortunate enough to be at my meeting for about an hour. It felt good to be back. Eventually, when things calm down and normalize at home, I can go back regularly. :)  Sadly, I didn’t get my purse. My director hasn’t ordered them yet. I hope she orders soon. I remember one time she waited too long and the ones she showed were no longer available. I’m sure she’ll do it soon.
In spite of not getting my prize (I need a new purse. I’ve been carrying the same one for awhile); I got some great booking advice that I’d like to share. I cannot take credit for these ideas. They are from my director’s senior. (more…)
